Moncreiffe is committed to helping residents with hobbies and interests for as long as possible. We employ 2 activity organisers who help to organise a wide variety of activities within the home. This is entirely the residents own choice whether they take part in any activities.
From March to November the activity organisers arrange trips to various places of interest, bar lunches, mystery tours and picnics. The home hires a bus for the purpose of these visits.
Each year, usually in August, Moncreiffe Annual Fete is held. A variety of stalls incorporating home baking, bric a brac, face painting grand raffle etc. The fete is open to the public and generates a lot of local interest especially the ‘bottle stall’. Strawberry Teas are also served and are also very popular.
